A new water ramp and trampoline have been green lit by the Steamboat Springs City Council at the bottom of Park Smalley Freestyle Complex on Mount Werner.
The project is a partnership between the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club and Steamboat Ski Resort.
The new facility will feature water ramps and in-ground trampolines designed to provide a safe environment for athletes to develop aerial skills while supporting year-round training and athlete development.
Steamboat Ski Resort is planning, designing and permitting the project and is providing operational expertise.
The ramps at Bald Eagle Lake have been in operation for over 20 years and is the only water ramp facility in Colorado.
