The Chairman, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), retired Brig.-Gen. Buba Marwa, has reaffirmed the agency’s resolve to ensure that no drug trafficker escapes justice, irrespective of their status. Marwa reaffirmed this while reacting to the conviction and sentencing of fugitive drug kingpin, Ntoruka Chinedu, and former international football player, Hunkarin George. He said the duos were convicted for the unlawful importation of 7.050 Kilo Grammes of cocaine into Nigeria. ”This is where he collected the luggage containing the illicit drug from another person before heading to Nigeria. Both men were subsequently arraigned on a three-count charge marked FHC/L/669C/2025 for the unlawful importation of 800 Grammes of cocaine.”
