The Haines Borough Assembly will explore options for a possible private lease of the Port Chilkoot Dock at its July 28 meeting. The Assembly could vote on a moratorium for new tour permits for the Chilkoot Corridor. And, they’ll discuss a proposed alcohol tax that would be placed on the ballot.
