Provided / SOS OutreachSOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Youth mentorship nonprofit, SOS Outreach, has been named a finalist for the 2026 Defender Service Awards presented by Chase in the Outdoor Accessibility and Education category. If selected as the winner, SOS will receive $30,000 and a Land Rover Defender 130 – critical to supporting its programs. Of the thousands of youth SOS engages, 69% identify as youth of color and 43% come from a household income of under $40,000. Since launching in 2021, the Land Rover Defender Awards have given more than $1.5 million in funding to organizations advancing their mission.
