Recreation center provides update on activities, events

The Sanibel Recreation Center reported on upcoming programs and activities. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Fall After Care will take place from Aug. 11 through Nov. 6 from 2:15 to 5 p.m. The center will be closed on Aug. 1-9 for annual maintenance, with the pools closed beginning on July 30. The Sanibel Recreation Center is at 3880 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel.
