The situation has allowed the working class’s enemies in the ‘mainstream’ media to make hay and exult over the implosion. They will not forgive whoever is seen to have destroyed the party that is supposed to represent a mass movement – nor for that matter anyone seen not to have done enough to prevent it. Corbyn and Zarah must meet in person and they must do it right the hell now. And they must do it without hangers-on, face to face, just them. This has to be about the movement and the class war that is being waged against millions, not about interests, egos or identity.
