Apple has released macOS 26.6 to the public, but don't expect much in the way of big changes to features this time around. As usual for any system update, it is advisable to install the update, due to Apple including various bug fixes, performance improvements, and security refinements. Instead, users may be forgiven for not seeing any real updates to macOS 26.6 at all. To update, open System Preferences, then General, followed by Software Update. If there is a software update available, select to install it.
