When I’m by myself, I’m happy to say I’m in charge. By the end of the first series, I’d connected to the characters, and we’ve started watching series two. There’s also a guilty-pleasure element; everybody loves the idea of a beautiful creation, but the real hook is when something breaks or collapses.
