Our CorrespondentKohima | July 27The five day long North East NSS Festival 2026, which commenced at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma (KSCJ) on July 27 has brought together National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers from all eight Northeastern states under the theme “Viksit Bharat.” “It is also our obligation that we participate in nation-building,” Dr Yhome saidIn 1969, under Dr. D.S. Describing North East NSS festival as a unique programme, he said that festival aim to improve the personality of the students, provide opportunity for the NSS volunteers to exhibit their talents, also to learn each other culture. He said that 300 NSS volunteers have registered for the festival. The festival is organized by State NSS Cell Nagaland and hosted by Kohima Science College, Jotsoma in collaboration with Regional Directorate of NSS, Guwahati, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt of India.
