(DIPR Photo)Longleng, July 27 (MExN): The Longleng district administration has temporarily revised commercial taxi fares and notified alternate travel routes following road blockages caused by recent natural calamities, while the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) reviewed restoration measures at an emergency meeting on Monday. The administration has approved a temporary increase in commercial taxi fares owing to the longer distance and additional travel time. The revised fares are Rs 1,600 for Longleng-Dimapur, Rs 1,500 for Longleng-Kohima and Rs 600 for Longleng-Tuensang. Longleng DC opens alternate route for LMVs to MokokchungIn a separate advisory, the Longleng district administration announced that the road connecting Longleng and Mokokchung has become motorable for light motor vehicles (LMVs). The administration said the alternate route is approximately 105 km long.
