Storms caused heavy rain and flash flooding across Northern Arizona before shifting toward southern and central areas. High heat, humidity, and storm chances persist across Arizona this week. Showers and storms will continue through the night in far southern Arizona, and eventually by early Tuesday morning, that moisture will move northward. As the week goes on, the high pressure center will shift farther west and center over Arizona. These storms can cause interruptions in services, such as water, power, and gas," stated Captain Ashley Losch of the Glendale Fire Department.
