God’s Storehouse will partner with the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) for the 32nd Annual National Letter Carrier food drive, Stamp Out Hunger. The letter carriers and God’s Storehouse will collect food for those in need on Saturday, May 11. God’s Storehouse volunteers will assist postal workers in collecting food along their routes whilealso unloading and sorting food at the post office. God’s Storehouse is seeing an increase in the number of families (18% more than 2023) needingfood due to rising food costs and decreases in SNAP benefits and seeing a 24% decrease in donated food. The donated food from the food drive enables God’s Storehouse to stock the shelves for the summer months when food donations from schools, individuals, and faith groups decrease.
