Emergency services will remain available without interruption throughout the transition, according to hospital officials. The transfer of current hospital inpatients will begin at 6 a.m. and is expected to take approximately two to four hours. MMH is partnering with Letts EMS to transport patients by ambulance from the current hospital to the new facility. The Café at the current hospital will close to the public on Friday, Aug. 7, and will reopen Monday, Aug. 10, at the new location. “MMH appreciates the community’s patience and understanding and looks forward to welcoming patients and visitors to the new hospital.”
