BLADE has been selected by the United States Army to take part in Project Sustainment, an initiative focused on developing autonomous solutions for transporting supplies in combat zones.
As its proposal for the project, the company introduced the Dire WOLF, a six-wheeled unmanned ground vehicle with a diesel-electric hybrid powertrain.
The Dire WOLF was designed to operate across difficult terrain and in highly hostile environments.
For the U.S. Army, the automation of logistics will be a decisive factor in future high-intensity conflicts against technologically advanced adversaries.
BLADE was selected as one of five industry partners for the U.S. Army’s Project Sustainment program, offering its Dire WOLF unmanned ground vehicle to automate logistics in contested combat environments.
