Price Chopper and Market 32 Ending Popular Fuel Rewards ProgramPrice Chopper and Market 32 have announced they're ending their longtime Fuel AdvantEdge program with Sunoco gas stations.
"Market 32 and Price Chopper continually evaluate and refine programs to deliver strong value and meet the evolving preferences of our customers," the company said.
According to the Times Union, nearly 200 Sunoco stations across New York currently participate in the Fuel AdvantEdge program.
Over the years, Price Chopper has said the program helped customers save more than $250 million on fuel.
Beginning August 1, shoppers will still earn AdvantEdge Rewards, but those points can only be redeemed for savings inside Price Chopper and Market 32 stores, not at participating Sunoco gas stations.
