"I was hoping NDIS would be there for them to make sure they have a future once I'm gone because I'm not getting any younger," she said. "We are not asking for much-not a holiday to Fiji, but being able to go out into the community so they're not inside locked in all the time... It's like having a stick that helps you walk taken away, and that person keeps on falling."
