play_arrow CU women’s basketball team are All Roads’ latest guest chefs KGNU NewsOn Wednesday, the University of Colorado women’s basketball team traded the hardwood for the kitchen, volunteering at Boulder’s All Roads Shelter as part of its Chefs at the Shelter community outreach series. All Roads Shelter works to help people transition out of homelessness while meeting immediate needs such as food, shelter and support services. Eighteen members of the team prepared meatballs and pasta before serving meals to shelter guests, giving back to a community that supports them throughout the season.“ The team, along with the previous guest chefs during the series, has added to the lasting impact that the shelter aims to leave. It’s humans require a lot of support and a lot of love and compassion, um, and that’s what we do.”
