THE UNIVERSITY has become the first Philippine higher education institution (HEI) to complete a pilot assessment under the Asean University Network Digital Transformation (AUN Dx) Framework, an initiative that evaluates and strengthens universities’ digital capabilities. UST was formally recognized on June 26 as one of only two higher education institutions in Asean to complete the framework’s pilot assessment. Using Version 1.04 of the AUN Dx Framework, the evaluation covered five areas: project governance, product development, service management, information security management and organizational management. The AUN Dx Framework was developed in 2022 by Thailand’s Prince of Songkla University in partnership with the Institute of Standards for Excellence and Management (ISEM) and the Asean University Network. UST is one of only three Philippine universities in the AUN Dx network, alongside Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle University.
