Senegalese MP Guy Marius Sagna is demanding answers from the State on the situation of the Fermes de la Teranga workersSeneweb | 25 July 2026Former SENHUILE employees and accounting agents: two other cases on the tableLaïka NZANGUILA BAIn the Dagana department, former workers of Fermes de la Teranga, formerly SENHUILE, are still waiting for their back wages to be paid. According to information presented by the member of parliament, these workers claim that the company has owed them wages for "almost two years." An initial ruling by the labor court allowed proceedings to begin for the payment of the first seven months' wages. The bailiff reportedly continued the process until a report of seizure of the company's equipment was drawn up. Guy Marius Sagna has therefore appealed to the Minister of Justice regarding "the necessity of appointing an auctioneer" to allow the proceedings to continue.
