The municipality recently installed three new billboard signs highlighting Kirkland Lake as a top northern destination for powersports, arts & culture, and outdoor adventure. It’s located on Highway 66 heading west toward Kirkland Lake, just past the Highway 672 (Esker Park Road) turn off. The second is called “Dig into our history” and is located on Highway 11, heading south, just before highway 66 (Matachewan) turn off. Town officials add the initiative is supported by the Kirkland Lake Tourism Development Corporation.
