A new generation of electric and decarbonised boatsWe provide our knowledge and expertise to help develop advanced technologies that will increase the energy efficiency, range and sustainability of the electric boats of the future. In this way, we are reinforcing our commitment to developing technological solutions that drive the decarbonisation of mobility and the growth of new sustainable industrial activities. We also help to accelerate the transfer of knowledge to the business community and to strengthen the Basque Country’s position in strategic areas, such as the Blue Economy and zero-emission maritime mobility. The Zero Emissions Marine Boat initiative, led by the Basque company LASAI,, aims to promote a new generation of electric and decarbonised boats, positioning the Basque Country as a European leader in sustainable maritime mobility. It involves the participation of other organisations within the Basque Network for Science, Technology and Innovation, as well as several Basque industrial SMEs.
