The campaign, developed by the West Ward Clean and Safe Committee, aims to strengthen local pride by focusing on clean and welcoming streets, conservation efforts and community celebrations. The Sept. 27 event is part of a larger series of clean-ups and cultural celebrations in the West Ward. Hispanic Heritage Day at the West Ward Market and United Way’s Day of Caring clean-up were some of the community’s recent events.
