A GoFundMe page has been created for a 24-year-old West New York native that was killed in a double fatal crash in North Bergen early this morning. By John Heinis/Hudson County View“Luis Fernando Cevallos (24) was a very caring person whose life was cut short due to a tragic car accident on August 4th,” the GoFundMe page description says. The page, which was just created this morning, has already raised $9,235 from 165 donors towards their $12,000 goal to cover funeral and memorial costs. According to North Bergen police, a speeding 2022 gray Kia Stinger slammed into a tractor trailer on Tonnelle Avenue near the Paterson Plank Road overpass. The incident remains under investigation, but drugs and alcohol were not believed to have been involved.
