Danville - Brett Mark Eggleston ("Eggie") passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, after a short but fearless battle with cancer. Of all the things Brett accomplished in his life, nothing ever meant more to him than hearing two little voices call him "Dad." A lifelong resident of Danville, Brett left behind enough stories to keep people laughing for years to come. Brett made his living in construction, but he built his life around the people he loved. The world is better because Brett was in it, and everyone who knew and loved him carries a piece of him in their own way.
