The Brief Fort Worth police are actively investigating after officers shot and killed a suspect near the 9000 block of South Freeway. The suspect had taken off an ankle monitor for sexual assault of a child. A suspect is dead after they were shot by police in Fort Worth on Saturday night. That suspect then led police on a short chase to the M&M Inn and Suites in south Fort Worth. Chief Garcia says the suspect was on an ankle monitor in connection to a sexual assault against a minor case.
