Baton Rouge, LA - Bernard John (Bernie) Zimlicki passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 due to a medical emergency during a vehicular accident. Though he was born a Yankee in Norwood, MA, he had lived in Baton Rouge for 35 years and grew to love the South. Bernie is survived by his dear friend and former wife of 35 years, Paula Moore Zimlicki of Mandeville; his loving family, sister Linda Zimlicki Owens of Bainbridge Island, WA, and his brother Alan Zimlicki (Aldona Charlton) of Wellfleet, MA. Other survivors are his loving friend, Virginia Moore, Baton Rouge; John (Barbara) Moore of Covington; and David (Gretchen) Moore of Dry Prong. Donations may be made to the church at 16166 S.
