It is remarkable that, despite its importance for risk management, urban planning and evaluating the environmental impacts of runoff, official data regarding local flooding is virtually nonexistent! What might the local flooding look like, in the future, as storms become wetter? His current research interests include electrical phenomena referred to as gigantic jets, surface-layer meteorology (winds), wave radar (currents), climate resilience and aviation weather.
