Human mythology has been influenced by dragon-like creatures throughout history, with their scales, otherworldly horns and alien bodies being incorporated into human folklore. But, as often happens in nature, it has produced something so imagination defying that it looks like something out of ancient myth. They are amazing creatures, and show us that there are living legends on the Earth that are even stranger than fiction.
