Authorities with the Shreveport Police Department are investigating a tragic late-night incident in the 2500 block of Malcolm Street that left a young woman and man dead in an apparent murder-suicide. Officers responded to reports of a shooting at a Malcolm Street residence at approximately 11:25 p.m. on July 23, 2026. She was pronounced dead at the scene by personnel from the Shreveport Fire Department.
