Building materials manufacturer and solutions company Amrize is acquiring a Texas-based concrete supplier as it bolsters its network in the state. With this acquisition, Amrize intends to strengthen its network in the growing Texas market, adding to its recent production expansion of its Midlothian cement plant and the acquisition of PB Materials, an aggregates business in West Texas. “We are excited about this highly synergistic acquisition in the growing Dallas-Fort Worth market,” Jaime Hill, president of Amrize Building Materials, stated in the news release. “Rapid Redi-Mix is a great, entrepreneurial business that complements our strong aggregates and cement operations in the region. “We are excited to join a high-performing team that shares our commitment for serving our customers as the partner of choice.”
