Midfielder Harry Whitwell said he is keen to take any opportunity he gets this pre-season after scoring in Saturday's outing at Shrewsbury. Albion secured their second 4-1 win of the summer with victory at the Sky Bet League Two side. Whitwell opened the scoring by netting a smart finish from the edge of the box 15 minutes into the game before Jimmy-Jay Morgan's brace and an Aune Heggebø header completed the scoreline. And the 20-year-old - who played 90 minutes in Shropshire - is hopeful of taking any chances that may fall his way in the build-up to the 2026/27 campaign.
