During the Hall H presentation, Ryan Coogler officially announced that Black Panther 3 will arrive in theaters on December 18, 2028. David Jonsson has officially been cast as the grown-up version of T’Challa’s son, Toussaint, who was introduced during the emotional closing moments of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. While audiences only met him as a young child, Black Panther 3 will jump ahead and follow him as an adult. Rather than looking backward, Black Panther 3 appears ready to carry Wakanda into a new era with T’Challa’s son at the center of the story. With Coogler returning to continue the franchise he helped build and Jonsson taking on such an important role, Black Panther 3 has already become one of Marvel’s most anticipated projects.
