McDonald’s trial is scheduled to get underway next month at the Kamloops Law Courts. It was supposed to be in front of a jury, but that changed on Monday when his lawyer re-elected to have the case heard by a B.C. Supreme Court judge sitting alone. McDonald's trial is scheduled to begin on Aug. 17.
