Former entertainment lawyer Samuel Seow died on July 25 at the age of 53, according to a statement from a family friend seen by The Straits Times on July 26. Seow, a bachelor, was the founder and chief executive of local talent management, entertainment, branding and event consultancy agency Beam Artistes. Beam Artistes' latest competition, Masters of the World 2026, was slated to take place in September. A representative for Beam Artistes said of Seow's death: "We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Seow was also a former high-profile entertainment lawyer who had represented local celebrities such as singer Tanya Chua and actress Michelle Saram.
