This is a totalitarian country, where information channels and mass media are not independent, but completely under the control of the regime. Nor does the voice of Russian political emigration reach Russians in their homeland. But what will happen to Russian culture as such in the West? The West is intensively engaged in changing the narrative that Russia is the historical successor of Kievan Rus and a state that has historically grown out of it. Many institutional ties are currently being established between Ukraine and Western countries.
