The no-fly zone is to be active in the coming weeks between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. During this period, normal civil aviation activities, including the use of hobby drones, are prohibited in the area. The area covers the airspace from north to south from the Pedassaar - Lake Võrtsjärv eastern shore line to the eastern border of Estonia. The establishment of the no-fly zone results from the need for the defense forces to organize more precise air surveillance, training activities and more flexible air security in the area in the coming weeks, while ensuring the safety of air traffic.
