The volunteer-run event began at 7 p.m. Friday, with participants riding a multi-mile loop through the neighborhood until the event concludes at 7 p.m. Saturday. Unlike many large community events, organizers say Riverwest 24 doesn't rely on corporate sponsorships. Instead, its focus is on bringing neighbors together through family-friendly cycling and community involvement. Riverwest 24 concludes Saturday at 7 p.m.
