The Clyda Rovers forward sustained the injury on Wednesday night during his club’s Group 3 championship opener against Kilshannig in Charleville. Already with three points to his name, Corbett went down when twisting his knee after landing awkwardly in the aftermath of netting for Clyda at the end of a brilliant team move. Only last month, he played a key role coming off the bench in the Leesiders’ magnificent All-Ireland SFC Round 2A victory over Donegal in Ballybofey. Corbett also subsequently featured in Cork’s quarter-final defeat to Mayo at Croke Park.
