Sanaa — Yemen’s Houthi movement launched strikes on Saudi oil installations at two Red Sea ports on Saturday, according to Reuters. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree claimed the group targeted Aramco facilities in Jazan and Yanbu. Two Asia-based trade sources reported possible damage at fuel and oil storage sites in Jazan. The Saudi-led coalition had earlier announced Friday that it carried out air raids against Houthi military positions in Hodeidah. The Houthis last week declared a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia, with leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi warning that all Saudi oil and vital infrastructure would be considered targets if Riyadh escalated its involvement in the conflict.
