Kuwait on Saturday rejected reports suggesting its involvement in military operations against Iran. The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) quoted the country’s ambassador to the United States, Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah, as saying: “The claims in The Wall Street Journal report regarding Kuwait’s participation in operations against Iran are entirely false.” She affirmed that Kuwait has not taken part in any military action against Iran and has not permitted the use of its territory, airspace, or territorial waters for offensive operations. Al-Sabah urged the newspaper to correct the report to reflect Kuwait’s true position and policies.
