The official said the blockade has since been removed and traffic restored, while personnel continue to monitor the area in view of the unstable conditions. On Friday, the Kohima district administration had issued a travel advisory following reports of intermittent rockfalls and falling debris from adjoining hill slopes at the Phesama Sinking Zone. The administration urged motorists to exercise maximum caution while passing through the affected area and avoid non-essential travel during heavy rainfall or adverse weather.
