Now Ms Coutinho has accused Neso of misleading ministers and the public over just how close they were to losing control of the grid. Speaking on Saturday, Ms Coutinho also said she had written to Miatta Fahnbulleh, the new Energy Secretary, asking for an inquiry. Ms Coutinho was alerted to the scale of the problem by whistleblowers and raised the issue in the House of Commons. This included misleading Neso staff, media and ministers.
