Minnesota is planning to hand out transgender dolls to children as young as four years old. Professor Dianne Berg, co-founder of MyGender Dolls - University of Minnesota/University of MinnesotaThe university's Institute for Sexual and Gender Health studied "trans and gender diverse" children and their parents playing with the dolls and "talk[ing] about gender and bodies" in groups. The trans dolls, which promise to "make gender fun", will be made available to teachers, school counsellors, paediatricians and mental health providers, according to a website of the "MyGender Dolls" company. One Republican operative claimed to The Telegraph that Mr Walz was trying to turn Minnesota into the "San Francisco of the Midwest". The University of Minnesota, Mr Walz, and MyGender Dolls have been approached for comment.
