A Super Bowl champion is dead after dying by suicide, the former NFL player's family confirmed Thursday. Jordan Devey, who won the 2015 Super Bowl with the New England Patriots, died by suicide, the family announced in a GoFundMe campaign posted this week. The GoFundMe said Devey "was a cherished member of the Eagle community, known for his unwavering dedication to serving others." After playing at Memphis, Devey began his NFL career on the Baltimore Ravens practice squad before being picked up by the Patriots in 2014, starting six games and winning the Super Bowl.
