By Valley News Live StaffGRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live)— North Dakota Eye Clinic (NDEC) announced today that it will begin offering in-office injections for retinal disease (intravitreal injections) locally starting in September, providing continuity of care for patients affected by the closure of eye services at Altru Health System.
Based in Grand Forks, North Dakota Eye Clinic is a regional leader in ophthalmic care, and this new service is aimed at maintaining and improving access for patients throughout the region.
The new clinic will be led by Amina Husain, MD, and supported by NDEC clinical staff already experienced in caring for retina patients.
“We’re excited to bring this service to our patients throughout the region,” said Dr. Mark Sczepanski, owner and lead ophthalmologist at North Dakota Eye Clinic.
