Baton Rouge, LA - Gene Autry Martin, 73, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026. Born in Woodville, MS, to the late William Jr. and Victoria Martin. After High School, Gene served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1971-1974. Outside of work, Gene was a devoted member of Greater King David Baptist Church for 50+ years and served as an Usher on Senior Usher Board. He was preceded in death by son Gene Martin Jr., parents William Jr. and Victoria Martin, and two brothers Raymond Martin and Michael Martin.
