School District of Lee County will again offer Lee FlexEd for home education students. “We are excited to enter our second year of the Lee FlexEd program following a successful launch with our initial cohort during the 2025-2026 school year,” said Cara Coble, instructional coach and content specialist with the district. The program is designed for home education students who participate in either the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC-PEP), or the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA). The fee-based program is open to middle and high school students. She said Lee FlexEd is a wonderful bridge between home education and public-school resources.
