The Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police has arrested another alleged shooter in connection with the killing of a Jubo Dal activist and the injuring of two others in Dhaka's Kafrul on Friday night. According to police, the shooting took place around 11:30pm on Friday in front of Opex Garments in Block E of Mirpur-13 under Kafrul Police Station. Jubo Dal activist Yusuf Ali, and two others were injured by the bullets. Immediately after the shooting, local residents caught one of the alleged attackers, Md Chanchal Mollah, beat him and handed him over to police. Earlier in the day, Shamal Kumar Haldar, a sub-inspector of Kafrul Police Station, filed a case with the same police station under the Arms Act against Chanchal, Zihad Mollah, Ziarul Mollah and Hasan.
