Samsung and SK Hynix unveil $950 billion US chip supply partnerships

Investing.com -- Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix will pursue memory-chip supply partnerships with major U.S. technology companies valued at a combined $950 billion, Reuters reported, citing South Korean presidential adviser Kim Yong-beom.
SK Hynix is expected to supply $750 billion of memory chips to American companies, including Nvidia, through long-term agreements.
SK Hynix also announced a separate initiative worth more than $500 billion with Nvidia and other partners.
Samsung and SK Hynix have also discussed supply agreements with Anthropic as AI developers seek more direct access to memory capacity.
