ChatGPT has been restored after experiencing a major outage on Saturday. An OpenAI status page said that the AI tool was "experiencing issues" and had "elevated error rates". Seventy-nine per cent of the outage reports relating to OpenAI were for ChatGPT, while 9 per cent were for the app and 8 per cent were for Codex, according to DownDetector. An OpenAI status update said that it was "fully operational" again just after midday on Saturday.
